According to Vanity Fair journalist Jo Robinson, actor Corey Stoll (Darren Cross/Yellowjacket in Ant-Man), will be back “in some shape” for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. Check out her quote from the Still Watching: Loki podcast below!
“I do know that Corey Stoll, in some shape, will be back for Ant-Man 3.”
And that leaves little room for doubt! Robinson is an extremely credible source with multiple personal ties to Marvel Studios. She frequently conducts interviews with Marvel Studios executives, cast, and crew for her work at Vanity Fair, as well as for research for her upcoming book on the history of Marvel Studios. Among her recent MCU work, she revealed in April that Marvel would have big plans for Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and did an extensive interview piece in preparation for Loki. Yet despite her insider knowledge, Robinson is always careful to withhold potential spoilers until getting Marvel’s consent.
In addition to Robinson’s quote, Evangeline Lily appeared to indicate the Stoll might be back in May, when she hashtagged him in an Instagram post about the Ant–Man 3 script. The post was quickly deleted, indicating that perhaps she dropped some information she shouldn’t have.
So that’s it, folks! We now have Kang and Yellowjacket confirmed for Quantumania. Do you think they’ll team up? What do you think the movie is going to be about? Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania starring Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lily, and Jonathan Majors is expected to hit theaters on February 17, 2023.
