In a time where Marvel hardly gives us any crumbs at all as far as how productions are going, it’s a very welcome sight when a director gives fans a little slice of the MCU pie. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania director Peyton Reed has done just that with the tweet below, announcing the start of principal photography for the film.
It begins.

The grotesque bunny is no doubt a reference to Scott Lang’s daughter Cassie who becomes Stature in the comics. The fact that the bunny is pictured in a lab could be a hint of the superhero origin story for Cassie, played by Kathryn Newton this time around, in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania as many have surmised was coming.
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania stars Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lily, Michael Douglas, Michelle Pfeiffer, Kathryn Newton, and Jonathan Majors as Kang the Conqueror. It is expected in theaters on February 17, 2023.
